Bonjour,

Comment installer et configurer le bon pilote pour mon imprimante (HP DeskJet 5740) en utilisant l'interface web de CUPS ? J'ai un fichier .ppd mais je ne vois pas comment l'utiliser. A quoi sert le paquet HPLIP ?

t'as essayé de lire ça : http://hplip.sourceforge.net/install/index.html ? Je pense qu'un emerge -av net-print/hplip devrait t'installer tout ça...

C'est déjà installé, mais ça ne donne rien de nouveau. L'interface de CUPS me propose des pilotes génériques. Sous Debian j'avais uploadé un fichier .ppd correspondant à mon imprimante.

As tu activé le use "ppds" ??? Je l'avais pas mis une fois, et je voyais rien dans l'interface de cups...

USE="ppds" emerge -av net-print/cups me donne :

Apparemment CUPS ne sera pas recompilé avec l'option ppds.
