Moved from Installing Gentoo to Gentoo on PPC.
Get the 2006.1 ppc universal installation cd. _________________ Please add [solved] to the initial post's subject line if you feel your problem is resolved. Help answer the unanswered

i'm running gentoo on an emac 700mhz right now... can be done. if you have the nvidia card in yours (which i do not think you do by the speed of your machine, sounds like the ati card) then the default x.org config files do not work and you have to do a manual install from the commandline (fortunately it's all documented in the gentoo manuals). if you have an problems post them to this thread and i'll see if i can help you out. best of luck. |
