hallo leute,
ich habe nun gentoo nach dem offiziellen howto installiert und ich bin ehrlich gesagt begeistert!
nun gibt es leider das problem dass ich nur ins gentoo booten kann wenn das netzwerkkabel eingesteckt ist,
was daran liegt dass er versucht eine ip vom dhcp server zu bekommen.
meine frage, ist es moeglich dass er irgendwann mal blickt dass er keine ip bekommt und trotzdem weiterbootet oder muss ich auf statische ips umstellen?
wuerde eigentlich ganz gerne meinen dhcp server anlassen, aber wenns nicht anders geht

Normalerweise sollte es nach 60 Sekunden weitergehen.
Du kannst den Timeout auch manuell auf zum Beispiel 10 Sekunden setzen. Dazu
