hey
i have a problem installing rune, when i try to emerge it i get:
Code: | >>> Emerging (1 of 1) games-action/rune-1.07-r2 to /
>>> checking ebuild checksums ;-)
>>> checking auxfile checksums ;-)
>>> checking miscfile checksums ;-)
>>> checking rune-all-0.2.tar.bz2 ;-)
* Do you accept the terms of this license (LOKI-EULA)? [yes/no] yes
* Found CD #1 root at /mnt/rune
>>> Unpacking source...
>>> Unpacking rune-all-0.2.tar.bz2 to /var/tmp/portage/rune-1.07-r2/work
>>> Source unpacked.
>>> Compiling source in /var/tmp/portage/rune-1.07-r2/work ...
>>> Source compiled.
>>> Test phase [not enabled]: games-action/rune-1.07-r2
>>> Install rune-1.07-r2 into /var/tmp/portage/rune-1.07-r2/image/ category games-action
* Copying files... this may take a while... |
and then nothing happens... at first hd access is heavy but later nothing happens at all...
any ideas?

Run tail /var/log/messages - does it show a problem regarding reading the CD? Give the CD a careful clean. |

i have the same problem when emerging rune (i tried both options - installing it from hd and from cd), but it freezes shortly after the "copying files..."-message.
have you ever solved this issue?
