I dont think mine is right, is it ?
# /etc/fstab: static file system information.
#
# noatime turns off atimes for increased performance (atimes normally aren't
# needed; notail increases performance of ReiserFS (at the expense of storage
# efficiency). It's safe to drop the noatime options if you want and to
# switch between notail / tail freely.
#
# The root filesystem should have a pass number of either 0 or 1.
# All other filesystems should have a pass number of 0 or greater than 1.
#
# See the manpage fstab(5) for more information.
#
# <fs> <mountpoint> <type> <opts> <dump/pa
ss>
# NOTE: If your BOOT partition is ReiserFS, add the notail option to opts.
#/dev/BOOT /boot ext2 noauto,noatime 1 2
#/dev/ROOT / ext3 noatime 0 1
#/dev/SWAP none swap sw 0 0
/dev/cdroms/cdrom0 /mnt/cdrom iso9660 auto,ro 0 0
#/dev/fd0 /mnt/floppy auto noauto 0 0
/dev/sda1 / ext2 defaults, noatime 1 2
/dev/sda2 swap sw 0 0
/dev/sda4 /usr ext3 noatime 0 0
/dev/sda5 /var ext3 noatime 0 0
/dev/sda6 /home ext3 noatime 0 0
# NOTE: The next line is critical for boot!
proc /proc proc defaults 0 0
# glibc 2.2 and above expects tmpfs to be mounted at /dev/shm for
# POSIX shared memory (shm_open, shm_unlink).
# (tmpfs is a dynamically expandable/shrinkable ramdisk, and will
# use almost no memory if not populated with files)
shm /dev/shm tmpfs nodev,nosuid,noexec 0

openprom /proc/openprom openpromfs defaults 0 0

psychocandy,
You have Quote: | /dev/cdroms/cdrom0 /mnt/cdrom iso9660 auto,ro 0 0 | you probabaly want noauto,ro or the init scripts will try to mount a CDROM at boot time and if the drive is empty, that will fail.
I have Code: | /dev/cdrom /mnt/cdrom iso9660,udf noauto,ro 0 0 | My CDROM is an old DVD reader, so it may encounter udf filesystesms too. On CDs, UDF is only used with packet writing, which in Linux, is limited to CD-RWs _________________ Regards,

Just ran cat /proc/filesystems and noticed that iso9660 is NOT in there....
I'm assuming this is a kernel compiled thing? |
