Möchte gerne htmldoc benutzen um ein pdf aus html Files zu machen...habe mir dir Version 1.8.27 besorgt. Leider zeigt er bei Seiten die in deutsch sind im pdf dann keine umlaute an.....habe schon versucht das chracter set unter fonts zu wechseln....iso-8859-1 sollte aber doch passen, oder?
Hat jemand mit htmldoc schon mal webseiten pdf erzeugt welche umlaute enthalten? Habe auch ps versucht.

Nunja.. probieren würde ich es trotzdem mal.
Auch mal UTF8 probiert? Im Internet lese ich nur mit Typo3 Problemen.. von daher kann ich Dir leider auch nicht wirklich weiterhelfen.. |

Hab edas jetzt mit nsl versucht geht auch nicht....mein ganzes system auf utf8 umstellen möchte ich nicht, oder meinst du mit utf8 was anderes? |

NLS ist nicht im ebuild drin, daher braucht er es nicht zu probieren. Zumal hinter nls nur gettext steht, um Ausgaben zu internationalisieren.
Hast Du mal mit den HTML-Dateien gespielt? Welche Kodierung haben die? Sind die Umlaute ersetzt durch &_uml;? |

Scheint am utf8 zu liegen. Ich habe es mal per httrack runtergeladen, iconv -f UTF8 -t ISO8859-1 drauf angewandt, charset im Header auf iso-8859-1 gesetzt und dann per http://www.easysw.com/htmldoc/pdf-o-matic.php umgewandelt. Das funktioniert, obwohl ich der Meinung bin, dass ein einfaches Print to file im FF besser aussieht. |

Also muss ich auf UTF8 umstellen....habe mal probeheitshalber die Windows Version (leider nur für 20Tage lauffähig) runtergezogen....die hat das selbe Problem....naja gut zu sehen dass es dort auch nett geht, aber verwunderlich ist es schon.... |

Aehm - was willst Du auf utf8 umstellen? Das Programm scheint damit nicht klarzukommen und da es nicht das einzige ist, waere es wenig sinnvoll, irgendetwas auf utf8 umzustellen. |
