Hello I get the following error when I try to emerge networkmanager. Can you tell me which package is missing?

Code:

checking for DBUS... yes
Your dbus version is 0,62,0.
checking for GTHREAD... yes
checking for GLIB... yes
checking for GMODULE... yes
checking for HAL... yes
checking for GTK... yes
checking for GDK_PIXBUF... yes
checking for GLADE... yes
checking for GCONF... yes
checking for GNOME_KEYRING... yes
checking for NOTIFY... yes
checking for LIBNL... yes
checking for libgcrypt-config... /usr/bin/libgcrypt-config
checking for PANEL_APPLET... configure: error: Package requirements (libpanelapplet-2.0) were not met:

No package 'libpanelapplet-2.0' found

Consider adjusting the PKG_CONFIG_PATH environment variable if you
installed software in a non-standard prefix.

Alternatively, you may set the environment variables PANEL_APPLET_CFLAGS
and PANEL_APPLET_LIBS to avoid the need to call pkg-config.
See the pkg-config man page for more details.

Hi,

You should do as the ebuild says. File a bug in the [ur=htp://bugs.gentoo.org]bugzilla[/url] and attach
Code:
/var/tmp/portage/networkmanager-0.6.4_pre20061028-r1/work/NetworkManager/config.log
.

As a quick fix, the library you're missing seems to belong to the "gnome-panel" package, so a simple emerge should workaround it:
Code:
#emerge -av --oneshot gnome-panel
