runlevel when interface started?

Is there a specific runlevel for when an interface is brought up?

I have a small Sony Vaio picturebook that has a wireless card, I want to have network services ( sshd, apache, etc ) only start when the interface is up and online. Not sure if add the services via a runlevel is the best way or not??
