I'm trying to emerge the latest gnash, and it seems to emerge OK, but when I try and run it, I get the following error
Code: | $ gnash
gnash: /lib/libgcc_s.so.1: version `GCC_4.0.0' not found (required by /usr/lib/libgnashserver-0.7.2.so)
|
Current compiler is GCC-4.1.1-r1.
Anyone have any ideas? |

I'm currently using gcc-4.1.1-r3, 0.7.2 seems to work without crashing. Huge improvement over prior version. Does not work great for the actual files, but doesn't crash. |

I think it's an eselect problem - I noticed that /lib/libgcc_s.so.1 had a date stamp of around May 2006, but the one created by the emerge of gcc (/usr/lib/gcc/x86_64*/4.1.1/libgcc_s.so.1) was September. Manually copied the library and the error goes away.... |
