Hi. I have recently installed Gentoo on my desktop computer. This machine is behind a Slackware gateway.
Galeon often seems to stop, I mean after browsing 2 or 3 pages, nothings happens anymore. This is the same for Mozilla or links.
Evolution also seems to have a lot of problems to send mails.
Is something missing on my installation ? Do I need to emerge a missing deamon or what ??

We can't give you directions to where you want to go unless we
know where you are, where you want to go, and have a map of the area.
Do you have any clue why your browser stops?
Have you tried using the memory test program from the gentoo livecd?
(hit memtest from the prompt when you boot from the livecd) |
