I've just installed Opera 9.10 and I can see it if I right click on the desktop and goto Network in XFCE4, but it won't open. What gives? _________________ Asus P5W DH Deluxe

Start opera in a console, then post any error messages. |

Just bring up konsole, or whatever you use and type in "opera" |

Ok, the error I get is as follows:
Code: | ERROR: ld.so: object 'libjvm.so' from LD_PRELOAD cannot be preloaded: ignored.
ERROR: ld.so: object 'libawt.so' from LD_PRELOAD cannot be preloaded: ignored.
/usr/lib/opera/9.10-20061214.6/opera: error while loading shared libraries: libq
t-mt.so.3: cannot open shared object file: No such file of directory |
How do you copy stuff in terminal?
I've also got a few other problems. When I run emerge --update --deep world, it tries to emerge the 8.27.10-r1 ATI drivers but I've already got the latest drivers installed.
Another problem I've got is some of the icon are missing the file manager (xffm).
EDIT: Ok, just made a login for myself as I was using root and the icons seem to be fine when using my new login but some are still missing when using root, what gives? _________________ Asus P5W DH Deluxe

If you aren't ignore the next part. For this to keep using the unstable branch do the following command.
Code: | echo "x11-drivers/ati-drivers ~x86" >> /etc/portage/package.keywords | Then try emerge --update --deep world. |
