|
|
I've been trying to install the winex-cvs for a few days and I keep getting the following error:
Calculating dependencies ...done!
>>> emerge (1 of 1) app-emulation/winex-cvs-3.0 to /
>>> Unpacking source...
* Fetching cvs module wine into /usr/portage/distfiles/cvs-src/winex-3-0...
cvs.winex.sourceforge.net:/cvsroot/winex
* Running cvs -q -f -z3 -d ":pserver:anonymous:@cvs.winex.sourceforge.net:/cvsroot/winex" login
Logging in to :pserver:anonymous@cvs.winex.sourceforge.net:2401/cvsroot/winex
cvs [login aborted]: end of file from server (consult above messages if any)
!!! ERROR: app-emulation/winex-cvs-3.0 failed.
!!! Function cvs_fetch, Line 191, Exitcode 1
!!! cvs login command failed
Am I doing something wrong? (I've searched using many winex/winex-cvs params with no success on finding resolution to this problem)...
Thanks,

just so you know you're not alone, i have the same problem. also, if i use the cvs command manually, i get unexpected EOF from server, however, other sf.net cvs's work fine. |

I had the same problem from time to time.
Someday it just worked.
Looks like Transgaming does lots of funky stuff with their cvs server...
Maybe to suggest to people that buying their product is just soooo much easier. Just maybe... |

Thanks, I tried again with no success. I'll give it a day or two and see how it goes...
