Muy buenas. Hace tiempo que tengo un soundblaster 5.1 (emu10k) pero me acabo de comprar unos altavoces 5.1. El problema es que aunque he estado mirando los post y el wiki el ingles, haciendo pruebas con | Code: | speaker-test -c6 -Dsurround51

no consigo que funcione el center y el LFE. No se que es lo que me estoy dejando. Pego la salida del amixer:

y el 5.1 me funciona perfectamente.
Haz lo siguiente:
- Detén el servicio

Asegúrate de que /etc/conf.d/alsasound contiene RESTORE_ON_START="yes"
Copia mis ajustes del mixer a /etc/asound.state
Reinicia el servicio | Code: | | /etc/init.d/alsasound start |
Ejecuta | Code: | | # speaker-test -c6 -twav -D surround51 |
Si sigue sin irte, comprueba el resto de ajustes:

Gracias. Lo que propones ya lo habia probado porque lo habias puesto en respuesta a un post ingles. Al reiniciar el servicio dice:

Y los unicos altavoces que funcionan son los traseros (iz y der.). Si subo el volumen del PCM, que estaba a mute vuelvo a tener sonido en el delantero derecho e izquierdo pero me quedo igual que al principio

Creo que ese error es porque usamos versiones distintas de Alsa y algún control ha cambiado de nombre. Estoy usando media-sound/alsa-driver-1.0.14_rc1 y media-sound/alsa-headers-1.0.14_rc1
Prueba aunque sea solo pro saber si el problema es de los ajustes del mixer o del driver. Si te funciona, perfecto, si no, tal vez tengamos revisiones distintas de SB y haya algo que falle con la tuya y sea interesante reportarlo a la lista de correo de Alsa. |

Y he actualizado a tu version del driver y la cosa sigue igual, quejandose de lo mismo. Lo que me ha llamado la atencion es que no solo me quita el control 47, me quita todos los referentes a sigmatel, que no se que pinta aqui. ¿Quizas porque tu tengas tambien una tarjeta de esa marca?

Tengo otra tarjeta, pero en esos controles no aparecen sus ajustes, me preocupé de borrarlos antes de subirlos. Aunque suene raro, mi SB tiene un chipset de control SigmaTel. Concretamente, esto es lo que aparece en la parte superior izquierda de alsamixer:

A mi ya no se me ocurre que puede ser. Si repasando http://alsa.opensrc.org/SbLiveMixerControls no das con el ajuste que controla el LFE y el central, tal vez no sea fallo de software. El central y LFE usan el mismo cable y la misma conexión. Prueba conectando el cable de los delanteros (o los traseros) al canal del LFE y del central para ver si reproduce algún sonido y viceversa, conecta el cable del central en la clavija de los delanteros (o los traseros). |

Siento haber tardado en contestar, ando liado con los examenes y se me olvido. Por casualidad estube tocando los cables y conectando el cable del subwoofer a otro jack (azul, vete a saber porque cuando el cable es rosa ) la cosa funciona. Muchisimas gracias por la ayuda.

lo teneis enchufado con altavoces/conectores especiales?
Lo digo porque tambien tengo una sound blaster live 5.1 y la quiero conectar a mi amplificador.
Donde puedo encontar una foto de los cables que usais? |

Yo lo tengo conectado a unos altavoces analógicos con cables jack 3.5mm estándar macho .
La salida de la tarjeta de sonido por norma general usa conectores jack 3.5mm hembra, por lo que necesitarás para cada dos canales un cable jack 3.5mm macho. Lo normal es tener 6 canales (2 delanteros, 2 traseros, el central y el subwoofer) por lo que necesitarás 3 cables. El otro extremo dependerá de tu amplificador, que supongo que usará cables RCA. Asegurate de que tu amplificador puede reproducir 3 canales estéreo (6 canales a la vez) o no te servirá de nada que tu tarjeta sea de 5.1  |

gracias stolz, pero es lo que me temia. Ya lo habia visto montado de esta manera.
Hace mucho tiempo que tengo esta tarjeta y no tengo manuales ni nada, por internet poco he encontrado, pero por lo visto no es posible lo que yo queria: tener una salida (al lado que conectaria el amplificador) digital con un solo cable cable RCA.

| Si activas la salida digital (en alsamixer se llama SB Live Analog/Digital Output Jack), puedes usar un solo cable para todos los canales (aunque dado el tipo de clavija de la tarjeta, al menos uno de los extremos no será RCA, sino jack de 3.5mm). Eso sí, necesitas un amplificador que admita entradas digitales. |

| Aunque los datos sean digitales la portadora es analógica, así es que el cable es uno normal. Como la salida del la tarjeta es un jack estandar de 3.5mm y la entrada digital de tu amplificador es RCA, supongo que deberás pedir un cable con un extremo jack 3.5mm y el otro RCA . |
