The prob is that i cant use TeamSpeak and ET run together.
First error i notised was that after installing alsa ET couldn't find my soundcard.
----- finished R_Init -----
------- sound initialization -------
/dev/dsp: Input/output error
Could not mmap /dev/dsp
------------------------------------
I have fixed it doing commands :
echo "et.x86 0 0 disable" > /proc/asound/card0/pcm0c/oss
echo "et.x86 0 0 direct" > /proc/asound/card0/pcm0p/oss
and getting now :
------------------------------------
----- Sound Info -----
sound system is muted
1 stereo
16384 samples
16 samplebits
1 submission_chunk
48000 speed
0x0x936ee000 dma buffer
No background file.
----------------------
ET now see the card, but when i try to run TS and ET together than i get error :
------- sound initialization -------
/dev/dsp: Device or resource busy
Could not open /dev/dsp
------------------------------------
I'm using 2.6.18.6 kernel.
Modules are not builded from kernel. With Kernel drivers card freacked out.
It is installed from ebuild version 1.0.14-rc_1.
I have OSS support builded in kernel.
Thx for reply.

If you want to use media-sound/alsa-driver, you should only enable "Device Drivers --> Sound --> Sound card support" and not enable "Advanced Linux Sound Architecture" and "Open Sound System". Don't mix in-kernel sound drivers with media-sound/alsa-driver.
To enable OSS support, add "oss" to your USE flags. |

The ca0106 sound chip only supports 1 PCM stream passing through at any time; no hardware mixing is available.
You will need to use dmix or get an audigy4 (emu10k2) instead. |
