Bonj soir .....
J'ai un problème depuis toujours avec openoffice. Je n'arrive pas à faire des caractère "en deux touche", donc mettre un chapeau ou les deux points sur une lettre !!!
Une betise .... surtout que ca fais ca sur toute mes installation !!
Alors, vu ceci :

je me dis que si ils n'ont pas ces caractères la, les secrétaires vont hurler.
En fait, j'esperais que quelqu'un avait ceci de fonctionnel, je suppose que ca fonctionne mais pourquoi ca va pas chez moi ...
Dans X (ou Xgl), j'ai toute mes touches fonctionnels ... mais dans OpenOffice 2.1, rien à faire 
J'ai un clavier belge, je vois pas ce que ca changerais...
Une idée ???

Salut Loopx,
Je ne vais sans doute pas t'être d'un grand secours mais au cas ou... Est-ce que tu as le USE flag "linguas_fr" sur ton openoffice-bin ? Et as-tu jeté un coup d'oeil dans l'aide en ligne d'openoffice sous la rubrique « accents » ?
Pas d'autres « idées ». Chez moi, version 2.1 binaire, pas de problème avec les accents.

On appelle ça des caractères accentués...
"chapeau" = accent circonflexe, "deux points" (sic) = tréma |

il faudrait vérifier si l'option nodeadkeys est bien désactivée dans xorg.conf
# Option "XkbVariant" "nodeadkeys"

Môsieur préfèrerait la suite office krosoft peut-être? 
chezmoiçamarche.com, je pense que les posts précédents devraient régler ton problème (j'utilise aussi la version binaire).

Non, j'abuse quand meme... quoi que faut bien avouer qu'il y a des trucs assé embetant genre :
- un coller => le texte est carément hors de la feuille, faut redécaller avec l'icone flèche vers la droite (tabulation je suppose)
- bugs d'affichage (dans impress, couleurs du fond qui change... dépend du zoom)
- les caractères ... pourquoi faut t'il faire ca alors que tout les autres progz fonctionne bien ...
- les polices qui depuis des années sont bizarement affichée (genre, espace exagérer entre certain caractère des mots, selon le zoom toujours)
- l'automatisation "à la word" ...
J'ai pas encore testé les solutions parce que je suis en exam, mais ca viendra pour sur  je garde le poste au chaud

J'ai rien de tout cela à part le coup des polices (en effet je trouve ça assez génânt parfois).
Sinon pour "l'automatisation à la word" et bien certains trouvent que c'est un avantage...pour passer de word à openoffice. Ça cible les gens qui font de la bureautique et qui sont habitués à cet outil. Bref, on peut pas tout avoir :-/
Enfin perso pour toute doc personnelle (hors travail) j'utilise LaTeX, me fais même plus emm***** par un éditeur wysiwyg qui formate en plus très mal le contenu

Perso je compile open office (et oui je suis atient ) et je n'ai aucun problème avec.
Sauf une police qui s'affiche un peu dégeullassement.
Pour ton problème je pencherais tout de même à une config du clavier dans ton interface graphique. |

Juste pour dire que c'est betement la variable LANG qui est pas réglée !

Comment on règle cette variable au boot ??? Genre, j'ai créé un fichier dans /etc/env.d => marche pas je le met dans 00basic => marche pas ...

Avec ceci ton ssyteme sera en UTF-8 BE.

ben moi même avec ça, ça marche pas.
comme je suis en qwerty, c'est encore plus chiant parce que TOUS les accents se font via les touches mortes :/
