|

Hello, I have a little of a dilemma right now. We have a windows 2000 computer that picks up radio signals from a board and uses windows media encoder to encode it. However, this computer cannot be accessed from the outside, and the only computer than can be accessed from the outside is a gentoo server. How can I make the gentoo server act as a relay for the computer running windows media encoder?
I have looked into shoutcast but it seems everything is about streaming mp3's etc.
Thanks, I may not have explained everything sufficiently, so if there's any info that's necessary, I'd be glad to provide it. _________________ How many people can read hex if you and dead people can read hex? |

I don't VLC can act as the server. It's just a media player. I need something that can relay the source streaming from a certain port on the host computer (via windows media encoder) to the outside. _________________ How many people can read hex if you and dead people can read hex? |

Just make sure you emerge it with the "stream" USE flag.
