I have been following the HOWTO Wiki for Openldap but when I get to the Startup and Testing section and try a slaptest, I get the following:
Code: | bdb_db_open: DB_CONFIG for suffix dc=davisschool,dc=org has changed.
Performing database recovery to activate new settings.
bdb_db_open: Recovery skipped in read-only mode. Run manual recovery if errors are encountered.
config file testing succeeded

Then when I try to start slapd, I get the [!!] but no error messages. Anyone have any suggestions?
Using Openldap-2.3.27-r3 |

From slaptest message there seems to be no real issue, just that the bdb indicates it needs to be recovered.
slaptest won't do that because it just perfoms check.
Check on google if you can find how to manual lauch the bdb recovery.
Also, in slapd.conf you can add :
And restart the service.
Then check in /var/log/messages _________________ "Because two groups of consumers drive the absolute high end of home computing: the gamers and the porn surfers." /.
