|
|
i decided to reinstall xmms after i found out that there is no compareble replacement for it.
but it doesn't play wavefiles now (i know it once did!!) although i have the libsndfile emerge and merged xmms with the sndfile flag. when i try to play a wavefile, it just skips to the next file, as if it had no plugin...
any ideas, how to fix that? |

This Debian-based xmms ebuild plays wavs. Although, I don't see why yours shouldn't. |

well, the one which i compiled last summer also did! but the one i compiled now, after a system update, doesn't... it tells me the length of the waves, that's all. |
