make an overlay for your nvidia-drivers and save the patch blow to the files dir
then add 'epatch "${FILESDIR}"/nvidia-drivers-2.6.20-rc6-mm2.patch' to the end of the src_unpack section
Code: | diff -ruN NVIDIA-Linux-x86-1.0-9746-pkg0.orig/usr/src/nv/nv.c NVIDIA-Linux-x86-1.0-9746-pkg0/usr/src/nv/nv.c

Not sure why it's doing that, but it repeats that line over and over. Perhaps I am missing something to get it properly working with this kernel?? |
yeah there was a change i realized about afterwards that I have to change give me an hour or 2 and I should have it fixed.... suspend worked in 2.6.20-rc4-skunk1 if you want to try that |
I tried Suspend2 with skunk1 and get the same error. |

You mean you didn't just bring skunk-sources back a few days ago? Where have I been?
Yes, it was probably at least a year ago. I liked to use skunk on my G4 because ingosched made it purr. _________________ --Aaron |

We need inidca sources with a less aggressive patchset, and more mellow approach. _________________ We need to shoot cops, and hang politicians. Concentrate the vision, concentrate the vision. |

indica = skunk
More appropriate would be sativa-sources. More high, less stoned. _________________ Viper-Sources Maintainer || nesl247 Projects || vipernicus.org blog |

But, generally, you're probably right. I think this is one of those things that would be debated for pages and pages on overgrow... I miss that place. _________________ We need to shoot cops, and hang politicians. Concentrate the vision, concentrate the vision. |

skunk #1 has a heritage of Afghani(indica), Mexican gold(sativa) and Colombian gold(sativa). The original skunk #1 is breed by skunkman which I have some experience in the garden and is 75% sativa and 25% indica. However, sensi seeds claims they have the original mother plant of skunk#1 supposdely skunkman left it with them when he left sensi(debatable). This plant is surprisingly easy to grow. skunk#1 is used in many of the newer strains as a base. i forgot to mention that in 2.6.20-rc6-skunk3.1 I didnt apply a the -mm patches that removed the SA_* entries so you dont need to do any special hacks to get portage modules to work _________________ Do not meddle in the affairs of wizards, for they are subtle and quick to anger. |
