when setupping up ndiswrapper (following https://forums.gentoo.org/viewtopic-t-516342-highlight-howto+wpa.html) I get an erorr.
gentootop Desktop # ndiswrapper -i /lib/firmware/bcmwl5.inf
installing bcmwl5 ...
couldn't find models section "BROADCOM" -
installation may be incomplete

ndiswrapper -l shows this

gentootop Desktop # ndiswrapper -l
bcmwl5 : invalid driver!
mn720-ankh : driver installed
device (14E4:4325) present (alternate driver: bcm43xx)

anyways,

my wpa_supplicant.conf is
gentootop Desktop # cat /etc/wpa_supplicant.conf
ctrl_interface=/var/run/wpa_supplicant
ctrl_interface_group=0
eapol_version=1
ap_scan=1
fast_reauth=1

# Example blocks:

# WPA-PSK
network={
scan_ssid=1
proto=WPA
#proto=RSN
key_mgmt=WPA-PSK
pairwise=CCMP TKIP
group=CCMP TKIP WEP104 WEP40

ssid="cchswireless"
#psk="2544355676"

priority=2
}

these are the errors/logs I had from wpa_supplicant
