|
|
I love using amarok to manage all of my podcasts, but since I've been using version 1.4.0 it's not downloading my podcasts into the right directories. I have all of my podcasts set to download to the computer to make it easy to listen on the road. I create directories for each podcast in my /home/multimedia/podcasts directory. This works out great, except that instead of downloading the mp3s to /home/multimedia/podcasts/Real_Estate for my real estate podcast, it will download the mp3s to /home/multimedia/podcasts/Real_Estate//http\:/shows.smassackers.com/podcasts/shows/52/ or whatever other servers the podcasts come from. How can I get my podcasts to download in the directories I specified instead of downloading in subdirectories I don't even want? |

hi mjb!
did you manage to solve this issue?
i ran into the same problem ... i use some kind of workaround by linking the podcast-directory ( ~/kde/share/apps/amarok/podcasts/ ) in my home-dir.
dont really like this, but i have no other idea.

The newest version 1.4.4 is in the portage tree. I upgraded to that and I've been having a lot better time with files being saved to where I want them. |
