I just tried thinkfinger on my thinkpad T43. In general thinkfinger works this means tf-tool scans and verifys fingerprints. I did the entry in system-auth like it is described in the message which is displayed after install. But the verification with fingerprint does not work in kde this means login in kdm an unlock a locked session I can login with password kdesu just hangs when I press enter.
But login on console and normal su does work with fingerprint.
Is there anyone who can tell me how to make it also work in kde?
BTW: I used the tfm-fingerprint bioapi pam_bioapi before they did work everywhere except kdesu. |

Moved from Installing Gentoo to Networking & Security.
Not about getting gentoo installed, so moved here instead. _________________ Please add [solved] to the initial post's subject line if you feel your problem is resolved. Help answer the unanswered
