C'est certain que je vais rajouter ALSA_CARDS = "intel8x0" dans mon /etc/make.conf, mais je voudrais savoir pourquoi on a besoin de ça maintenant, car selon la documentation, ALSA_CARDS sert juste quand on n'utilise pas le driver dans le kernel.
Bref, qu'est-ce qui as changé dernièrement à ce sujet ?
Je vais m'assurer de faire un emerge -puDNv world, car il y a peut-être de quoi qui doit être recompilé aussi |

Ben la gwn semble pourtant assez claire :

Mais si tu n'utilises aucun de ces packages ni le "alsa-driver" séparé, tu n'as pas besoin de ALSA_CARDS ... |

montre bien que seuls ces deux packages utiliseront la variable ALSA_CARDS et que par conséquent si tu n'utilises aucun de ces deux packages, t'as pas de question à te poser.
(En plus ce serait complètement absurde que cette variable surcharge le /usr/src/linux/.config...) |
