Hi,
My Realtek 8168 NIC does not work.
Firstly I download the driver,and run

make clean modules
make install
depmod -a
modprobe r1000
|
Luckly,there wasn't error.But when I ran "ifconifg",there was only "lo".It's troublesome! 
My PC:
AMD Turion 64 x2
MotherBoad:nForce 430
OS:Gentoo-AMD64 2006.1
Kernel:2.6.20

I think you need to runto see all interfaces, even those that are down.

I have ther same nic and i want to install it during the installation
i have downloaded this module but i don t know how to find it and install it or so.
i just can t understand how to do it in the way given in the wiki.
can anybody make it a bit clearer? |
