What is the best way to have dhcpcd run automatically when wpa_supplicant connects to a network? I have wpa working well and connecting to networks in the background, but with not DHCP it still takes user intervention to get connected.

If you installed wpa_supplicant via the ebuilds and use our net scripts then it should launch dhcp automatically if you have a dhcp client installed.

I did, and it does not. What could go wrong? Is there a certain way I need to set the "net" file up?

D'oh. I had my net setup wrong. config_eth2 (that's my wireless) was set to "wpa_supplicant", setting it to "dhcp" instead made things work right.
