Playing Half-life Anthology now. Works 100% perfectly in full-screen or windowed. I have an Intel 945 vid card, so nothing fancy.
Completed Half-life and almost finished Opposing Force. No glitches found.
The only minor oddity is that I am using ALSA sound, and no OSS. If you attempt to adjust the sound in game or via function keys, game crashes. It does it consistantly in full screen, and less frequently if windowed. So, as long as you have the correct vol setting and do not need to change it, you should be fine. _________________ If God were a pickle, I'd still say "no pickle on my burger".

The following games work without a hitch in wine and can be added to the supported list:
- Starcraft
- Starcraft: Broodwar
- Star Wars Jedi Knight II: Jedi Outcast
- Star Wars Jedi Knight: Jedi Academy
- Warcraft II: Battle.net Edition
EDIT: BTW, I am voting to sticky this topic, as it can be darned handy if you wish to know if you game is supported in Linux.
EDIT 2: Oh oops, nevermind it is already stickied |

Thanks! You even put them in alphabetic order . Currently I am testing Star Wars battlefront *crossing fingers hoping it works*. _________________ Please add [solved] to the initial post's subject line if you feel your problem is resolved. Help answer the unanswered |

Thats good news:D. From what I understand Half-life Anthology and Half-life Platinum both use Steam to install the games? _________________ Please add [solved] to the initial post's subject line if you feel your problem is resolved. Help answer the unanswered |

Here is another game (and add-on) that works out of the box:
Star Wars Galactic Battlegrounds
Star Wars Galactic Battlegrounds: Clone Campaigns
There is one big fat note for both the game and the add-on though: Music should be turned off for performance reasons!
EDIT: I forgot to add The add-on for Diablo 2 (Diablo 2:Lord of Destruction) works out of the box as well. |

My mistake. If I see you correctly you have added an entry to the database for Gentoo AMD64? Thanks! I understand your frustration with partially working games . _________________ Please add [solved] to the initial post's subject line if you feel your problem is resolved. Yupp. I try to add test data as much as i can if they are not obsolete. (I.e the previous entry has the same result and is on a resent wine version)
Should i add results even if they don't contribute with anything new? |

I asked the wise man at the #winehq irc and they agreed that you should data even it's an exact duplicate, because then it's clear it is working consistently. _________________ Please add [solved] to the initial post's subject line if you feel your problem is resolved. Help answer the unanswered |

I would like to add something. Warcraft III & Warcaft III FT work really well, but your system might freeze after you exit the game & wine (the crash didn't occur during the gameplay though). Be careful if you don't want to corrupt your hard drive. IMO, wine is very experimental.
I was using the stable nVidia driver (1.0.8776-r1); I haven't tested the game using the latest nVidia driver (1.0.9755-r1) yet since I already uninstalled wine, but I did attempt to use the latest unstable wine, and the problem still occured. |

That game brings back so much memories... (Never completed the whole game because I broke down the car to fast XD )
That reminds me: I have Interstate 76 around here in some box. I will try it out as soon as I get time to dig it up and test it in wine. |
