Well, I know that a lot of users love Mosfet's Liquid style.
Buuuut....
<plug>I wrote dotNET which a lot of people also seem to like, although not nearly as many as like Mosfet's style.</plug>
Try them. They're some of the most popular styles around. They're coded in C++, so they do require that you compile them, but since you're using Gentoo, I seriously doubt that that'll be a problem for you.

Mosfet's liquid is very good (just emerge it) and you can go to www.kde-look.org for more themes and splash screens and icons and whatnot. .. its quite full featured compared to themes.org |
