Skype start now but i cant see any icon (on/of status), user pic, systry icon or something

Ok there are multiples threads on this point.
THE SOLUTION:
1) feed your overlay with this ebuild: net-im/skype-1.4.0.74-r1 download from https://bugs.gentoo.org/show_bug.cgi?id=182248
2) just emerge it (with USE="-qt-static" on AMD64 boxes).
3) first time, check your audio preference in skype's options to set your sounds devices correctly.
