Since a recent upgrade skype disappears every time I reboot. It works ok but for some reason every time I log out and back in I need to restart it. This never used to happen, KDE used to start it each time.
Has anyone else experienced this and is it a bug that needs to be reported?
I'm using ~x86_64 with KDE-3.5.7 and skype-1.4.0.99 |

In kde you can start any program automatically:
cd
cd .kde/Autostart
ln -s /usr/bin/skype
This basically makes a link to the program. |

Thanks for the response, but whilst that would fix the problem, why does it now need this? Previously logging out would save the setting and I wondered if this was a bug as it no longer does. |

Dunno, and I don't want to say that kde sucks, so I won't say anything. |
