Hallo,
Ich hab bei meiner aktuellen Gentoo-Installation ein sehr nerviges Problem mit dem Firefox.
Und zwar freezed der alle paar Minuten mal bei einer beliebigen Aktion (z.B. einen anderen Tab öffnen, eine Seite neu laden, etc.) unabhängig vom Inhalt der Seite (d.h. es macht keinen Unterschied ob die Seite reiner Text ist oder Java oder Flash drin ist). Ein remerge von Firefox hilft nicht und ich hab keine Ahnung, was die Ursache für mein Problem ist.

Probier mal, das Konfigurationsverzeichnis ~/.mozilla/ zu verschieben und mit einem sauberen Profil zu starten. Falls Du Flash oder andere Plugins installiert hast, probier es mal ohne diese Plugins.

Du kannst den FX auch mal aus einem Terminal heraus starten. Vielleicht siehst du dort ein wenig Output, wenn er einfriert. Und somit vielleicht den Grund.
Btw: Hast du irgendwelche speziellen Firefox-Themes installiert?

Ja hatte ich. War auch eine meiner ersten Ideen, dass das an dem ganzen schuld ist. Allerdings besteht das Problem auch mit dem Standard-Theme. Ich versuche gerade mit einer sauberen Konfiguration zu surfen. Bisher gabs hier das Problem nicht, aber ich teste das lieber mal eine Weile, bevor ich das abhake. Wies dann mit Flash aussieht, schau ich mir dann auch mal an.
Die Idee, auf die Ausgabe zu achten wenn ich den FF aus dem Terminal starte hatte ich auch bereits, allerdings lieferte mir das keine Fehler. |

Update:
Mein FF-Profil war wohl tatsächlich korrupt. Mit einem neuem inkl. Flash-Plugin und allem drum und dran bin ich nun schon einige Zeit im Netz unterwegs und hab bis jetzt keinen einzigen Freeze erlebt.
Scheint nun wohl normal zu funktionieren. |
