Field of 235 to large for ffffffffffff37

Trying to compile Evolution 1.4.3 I get this problem, but I had it working before so something must have been upgraded and broken Evolution. It's not to impotant because I was going to try Sylpheeds(?) but I would have liked to retrieve my mail saved in Evolution first. Along the same lines, does anyone one have any recommendations for a different GUI mail client - sending and recieving POP3 and SMTP.
