I'm not sure, but I believe you have to have the KSessionManager installed for the autostart function to work in KNetworkManager. _________________ “Truth, like infinity, is to be forever approached but never reached.” --Jean Ayres (1972)

Have you made sure that the GUI actually configured the autostart command for you? To check, go to ~/.kde/share/config and look at the knetworkmanagerrc file. It should have a line that says "Autostart=yes". _________________ “Truth, like infinity, is to be forever approached but never reached.” --Jean Ayres (1972)

You can disable if you don't use it, session manager, and instead, load programs by placing symbolic links to ~/kde/Autostart folder
Try this, I have knetworkmanager started this way every time I boot _________________ Some people should use emerge brain on theirselves... |

I have it working this way so I can tell you that it works. But beware I had a typo error
The symbolic link must me placed in ~/.kde/Autostart and NOT in ~/kde/Autostart
Let us know if you have more problems. _________________ Some people should use emerge brain on theirselves... |
