Frens,
I had apache 2.0 on my gentoo machine with linux kernel 2.6 and didn't support files larger than 2Gb. And i made my mind to upgrade to apache 2.2. Now after goind emerge apache to 2.2, all configurations messed up along with modules. I can't have downtime for long time, how can i revert back to apache 2.0 . Though i have all the backups of configurations.. Plz reply.. Thank you in advance. _________________ Regards,

Just emerge an older ebuild.
Quote: |
emerge -v "=apache-2.0.61"
|
Did you upgrade anything else? PHP might need a rebuild too. |

on the ebuild way apache 2.0.x never had support for large files.
your only chance would be to modify the ebuild yourself |

this won't work because there is no use flag "largefile"
you will need to edit the ebuild file by yourself:
Code: | /usr/portage/www-servers/apache/apache-2.0.61.ebuild |
i don't know how to enable the LFS (large file support) in apache 2, but you can download the sources and do:
to find the correct way to enable it |
