Mail archival solution??

I am tasked with implementing a mail archival solution for regulatory compliance at my place business and can't find any Linux based solutions. Currently, I am using Postfix with a simple script, but the real solution needs to be easily managed, indexed, and searched by non-Linux types. Any suggestions, commercial or otherwise?

It seems like there must be some related projects, but Googling has not led me to any.

well, what you want to do sounds very interesting. actually i never heard of anybody doing something like that.
the only "auto-archive-solution" i know is AMASS, but that's file based and will not help you.
