Hi
The Konqueror web browser fails trying to open a webpage - fx. http://www.gentoo.org - Why is this:
The first question asked is:
Code: | Open 'http://www.gentoo.org' using 'Konqueror Web Browser'? |
Choosing "open" to this question results in:
Code: | There appears to be a configuration error. You have associated Konqueror with text/html, but it can't handle this file type. |
Hope some one can help me?
Thanks

had the same problem and worked fine here
bij starting konqueror on the menu i chose -- settings -- configure konqueror
in the menu i have chosen file associations i selected the menu text
in the menu i selected HTML on the right i selected embedding instead of general
there i selected " show file in embedded viewer" instead of "show file in separate viewer"
it worked fine so i guess that is is not realy necessary to delete some files like it was told elswhere on the forum .
