There is a similar or identic topic,

that it dont start for me.
How I can burn a mkv with subtitles and different language to
startand dvd-video so it'll be possible to read for the standard home video player?

It should be quite straightforward to convert mkv to dvd format with a recent version (read: svn) of avidemux.
