Ciao ragazzi!
Secondo voi è possibile importare da una macchina debby gli account di email gestiti con postfix ad una macchina gentoo con qmail+vpopmail ?? |

eh allora, ho visto che postfix creava gli account email tramite passwd e shadow. Ora.. unico problema.. sono criptate ovviamente, e telefonare a tutti per farsi ridare una pass nuova mi sembrava troppo alla slackware. 
Soluzione? ho emergiato il mitico buon e vecchio zio john.
Devo dire che funziona davvero molto ma molto bene  (sono circa a metà lista.) 
xò ora non so in che formato salvi le email postfix, xchè dopo aver creato i nuovi account con qmail/vpopmail mi piacerebbe spostargli dentro la posta che alcuni users hanno in giacenza.
 
è possibile fare questa manovra? |

Se postfix utilizza maildir se a posto, altrimenti le devi convertire.
Per quanto riguarda le password, puoi sempre sniffare .
Altrimenti puoi anche fregartene delle password e utilizzare la funzione di vpopmail che setta la password della casella quella della prima connessione che riceve (ossia, se l'utente ciccio si connette a vpopmail con password ciao e vpopmail NON ha una password salvata, vpopmail settera' come password ciao).

Ho provato a guardare tutti i comandi di vpopmail, ma non ho trovato una cosa simile. Mi sapresti indicare meglio quale comando dare o dove cercare? grazie mille, ciao ciao |

E' un'opzione del configure.

John The Ripper, breve ricerchina su google e sai tutto. In sintesi è uno dei tanti programmini per crackare le password *nix. Non fa miracoli ma è abbastanza valido (ma soprattutto vecchio e noto) |

quell'opzione è già attiva, ma serve solo per fare un vuserinfo.. ti da la pass criptata e la stessa in chiaro. Ma non fa quello che dici tu

Ti pare, ho cancellato quei messaggi di troppo
Quell'opzione serve solo se usi mysql.
Aggiungi gli utenti tramite sql e il gioco e' fatto.

ah,ah,ah... john the ripper... no, non m'e' preso un'attacco di follia, solo che, ho appena visto un uomo a cui devo un favore, trasformarsi nell'uomo che mi deve un favore. Spiego:
di john mi avevano parlato tempo fa, dicendomi che era un programma per *rippare* i dvd. A me non fregava nulla, quindi non c'ho perso un zic di tempo... eh, ma mo' mi sente !
