Hi, I have a problem with openoffice on my U60.
I did several updates. After that, i ran revdep-rebuild. Revdep-rebuild told me to reemerge openoffice. I would really like to that, but the appropriate ebuild (2.0.2-r1) is not any more in the portage tree. And the newer versions won't work on my machine.
So, what are my options. Please tell me....
Frank

korz,
You can get the ebuild from CVS here and put it in your overlay.
I'm sure I have read (on these forums) that OOo 2.3.0 builds on a U10 but its not keyworded, so you have to keyword it if you want to try. _________________ Regards,

Thank you for your help! I will try OOo 2.3.0, when I have more time. At the moment, I'm struggling with the beloved "libexpat.so.0 could not be found" problem. This seems to be more urgent than OOo. |

korz,
Go into the #gentoo IRC channel on freenode and ask mzbot about expat. You need the command Code: | mzbot, teach korz about expat | or search on the forums as I've posted the one (very long) line script mzbot provides several times. _________________ Regards,
