Hmm. What method did you use to get Mplayer on your system? I'm curious, because a check on google suggests that the only web-pages out there wth any mention of libacl, are Debian and RedHat RPM listings.
libacl is apparently for "access control lists", whatever they may be. A search around the portage tree reveals nothing to me of it... did you use emerge to get mplayer on your system? I'm quite confused by why you are getting this error.
That you are getting this error at all suggests that the library was present during compilation, or at least that the installation process was informed that libacl was present. This makes me wonder if perhaps you are using a pre-compiled binary of mplayer, perhaps from the mplayer website? Only thing I can think of, anyway. _________________ Sometimes evil can be quite good. |

I've got it working now, I just had to emerge acl as well.
I've emerged mplayer with full compile, but i recon the error has something to do with some of my USE-flags. _________________ Allting har en ende, pølsen den har to. |
