Hi all.
I would like to know if the following is possible or if it is just a pipe dream:
I would like to connect my home phone line up to my main server so that I may:
- Make phone calls from computers on my local network (using some sort of software)
- When I am not home, have calls forward over the internet to my laptop (assuming I cam connected to the net on my laptop
If such a thing is possible what kind of hardware would I be looking at for my server. I assume it would be some kind of PCI card to which I can plug my phone into. Then there is the software required.
Can anyone advise me?
Regards, Freddie. |

Thanks! That seems perfect.
I will read up on it over the next few days and see where that take me.
