hey,
i somehow managed to get my 16-bit netgear ma401 working on my laptop (dont ask me, what i did, i just recognized it works). now i wanted to use the card on another laptop, but i dont get it working.
i enabled 16bit PCMCIA support in the kernels configuration as well as the prism2 drivers (all of them as modules) but the only thing i see when typing dmesg is:
Code: | pccard: PCMCIA card inserted into slot 1 |
does anybody konw, what i missed to do?

ok, i now copied the kernel configuration from my working laptop to the other one, where i want the card to run. i compiled the kernel, installed all modules, reboot, and my laptop doesn't recognize it
and its no hardware problem, because puppy linux recogizes the card on the laptop... _________________ gentoo, IBM T41p, atheros wlan, firegl T2, konsolenfreak |
