Gentoo OO - spreadsheet "Grid Lines" now showing

After upgrading to OO-2.4 " row / columns Grid Lines" in spreadsheet disappeared; only on Gentoo compiled version - in binary version they are showing OK.

The Grid Lines disappear only when one selects "background color" in a sheet (any color). When background is white they are showing OK.

Trying to turn them ON/OFF via:
Tool --> Options --> OpenOffice.org.calc --> View --> Grid Lines
Doesn't work.
