I am building a Netra 105 from a Stage 3 Kernel version 2.6.24-gentoo-r7 the kernel seems to compile ok so I don't think this is a big deal, but this is what I get

I am successfully able to save my configuration and compile the kernel. Since I am running a UltraSparc IIi (Sabre) and the above error seems to point to drivers/macintosh I am not sure if this is really a problem or not. I just wanted to post this to see if anyone smarter than me (shouldn't be hard there is always somebody that knows more) can tell me if this is a concern or not.

It's just a "menuconfig" bug, not a real bug  . Worst thing that could happen is that it causes your .config to be generated incorrectly and with a broken .config the compilation of the kernel would most certainly fail. But since that's ppc32 stuff and you are on sparc there's nothing to worry about.

Well since the kernel compiled with no errors then I am moving on. I really thought that was true, but it is always safer and smarter to ask a question then assume and screw it up!
