New Fluxbox-how to run it ?

Hi,

first I have emerged "normal" version of fluxbox. it was Ok, but I was Impressed by the rounded corners comming in the new (cvs) version. So I downloaded it (via cvs) and did all the installation/config steps according to readme...

I hoped I would log into the cvs version on the next logon....but I guess I didn't

-everything looks exactly the same as before.

so please excuse me me for a stupid question: how do get all this fancy stuff (like rounded boxes, slints,...).

fluxconf say-no config file founded..?

I would unmerge the Fluxbox version you got from portage and then recompile/reinstall the development release you downloaded manually. Too bad the devel version of fluxbox isn't in the portage tree.

The dev versions are in portage. Take a look at the ebuilds in /usr/portage/x11-wm/fluxbox.

okay, i'm emerging the fluxbox-0.9.6_pre1.ebuild. how do i make it start as my default wm?
