Hello all,
i recently purchased a TX1000z HP Tablet PC. I am interested in gathering knowledge about running gentoo on this laptop/tablet so that I may form a collect or knowledge base. My experience so far as been horrible. At first my kernel was freezing often, but I boot with noapic now. It's rather random, but lately i have not been able to run X, because it has been freezing, and the killx keyboard command is not working.
If you have been successful in building a stable gentoo environment on this tablet, i will be very thankful if you could post your kernel version, kernel config, boot options, and maybe xorg conf.
thank you! |

Did that one have the transmeta processor in it? _________________ Clean the contacts by vigorously rubbing the electrical contacts on the printed circuit board with a pencil eraser. Tape the 16K RAM pack to the computer to prevent loss of contact due to accidental movement. |
