Ok, how can I put this simply.... help!!
Trying to emerge mod_php, both 4.3.3 and 4.3.2-r5 and every time I try to build I get the same failure error. It can't find some iconv files.

I was wondering if the problem might be that iconv wasn't being detected so checked the config as it was scrolling past during the emerge

This is a fresh install, so php or mod_php have never been installed and it's not an upgrade case.
Just in case, heres the USE line from my make.conf

Although it's not showing here, I've tried this with -java in the USE line as well.. still no joy.
Does *anyone* have any idea what on earth I'm doing wrong?
