I have installed apache and bugzilla over it.
there is no problen accessing it from http://localhost or 127.0.0.1 or 192.168.1.2
all the works like a charm!
now i created a dyndns account and a ddclient catchmeraghav.dyndns.org
now when i access this site it directly goes to my router configuration...
then i figured out i have to port forward it, so i faithfully followed the instruction in portforward.com
http://www.portforward.com/english/routers/port_forwarding/Beetel/220BX/Apache.htm
but my router says port 80 is already in use so reassigning to 8080
i tried a few 100 other options, but finally the same result persists...
i get only my router's login if i go to catchmeraghav.dyndns.org!!!
any help... i have been doing this from sunday i believe

Did you use the ip 192.168.1.2 when adding a port forward?
You need to add a port forward from external port 80 to internal port 80 to the ip adress 192.168.1.2
EDIT:
NEVER EVER LEAVE THE STANDARD PASSWORD ON OUR ROUTER!
admin/password IS NOT SAFE!
to prevent further damage i changed it and sent it to you via pm

If we are able to view your router from outside your network, then your router is set to server up it's config on the wan port, which you /REALLY/ do not want. You address isn't loading for me know, so I am not sure if you have that setup or not.
Just like with any IP, you can only attach one service per port per IP. So if you are getting an error message about port 80 already being used, then you need to find out what is listening to port 80 on your wan port.

Hopefully he/she didn't have forced disconnects every 6h like some providers in e.g. Germany do it. And if yes, he/she hopefully had the keepalive/ondemand option active, otherwhise you locked him/her out - not being able to read the PM.
Given that the dyndns seems out of date... ROFL

Thank you for your reply...
And thank you for changing the password and sending me a mail...
i changed it sometime back and the in-numerous resets have reset the password.
its changed now!
how can i know what is listening to port 80??
one more thing... my rpoblem is i want to host my bugzilla installed over pache..
like viewing a website.
please advice me a good solution for this.
i tired and getting a little crazy about this... i wonder where i am going wrong?
is hosting bugzilla behind a dsl router so tough??!!??
please help me on this
