|
|
Hi !
I'm trying several settings of Yaboot.conf, and it never works : I don't any choice at the boot, there a "?" on a file icon, then OS X starts up.
If I want to boot Gentoo, I always have to go trough OpenFirmware...
So I'm wondering if it can be used when I have a separate /boot partiton.
The partition= setting is set to this /boot partition, of course.
Thank you for you help.

Just to confirm: did you make the trampoline bootstrap partition as described in section 3 of the PPC Quickstart Guide? _________________ For every higher wall, there is a taller ladder |

Yes, I did it.
But it's working, now ! My error : I commented the install= and magicboot= line, thinking it was not useful for my machine.
The problem is now to set up a keybord at startup, and the DHCP too...
Thank you foryour reply. |
