Intel core 2 duo T5450 - arch???

Hello, I don't if it's here the right place to post this doubt but...
ok, so i bought a new laptop with a Core 2 duo processor, which model is T5450.
It's a 64 bits processor...
So, which gentoo image do I have to download - x86 or amd64?

x86 -> 32bits.
amd64 -> 64bits.
both work. search the forums and read this for more information.

I was thinking AMD64 works just with AMD processors, like Turion64 and others... Is this right?
