Hi Leute,
ich wuerde ganz gerne WLAN benutzen.
Ich habe ein HP6715 Notebook, welches WLAN unterstützt.
Das Notebook unterstützt Linux ohne Probleme.
Ich habe einen 2.6.26 Kernel Gentoo Kernel installiert.
Lade ich den ndiswrapper mit entsprechender configuration vorher also Windows treiber
installieren, habe ich folgende Meldungen in dmesg und lspci:
lspci:
30:00.0 Network controller: Broadcom Corporation BCM4312 802.11a/b/g (rev 02)
dmesg:
ndiswrapper version 1.53 loaded (smp=yes, preempt=no)
usbcore: registered new interface driver ndiswrapper
Frage 1: Ist der Treiber bzw. die Hardware aktiviert?
Frage 2: Wie kann nach einem Access Point suchen?
Frage 3: Ich habe kwifi installiert, aber der kann das device nicht finden, was ist da los?

evtl noch hardwareschalter am gehäuse?

iwlist $wlandev scan
oder kismet, überprüfe vorher ob du mit Code: | iwconfig $wlandev mode monitor | in den monitor mode wechseln kannst, allerdings glaub ich das ndiswrapper dir einen strich durch die rechnung macht, gibts keinen nativen linux treiber? |

Hi
ich habe auch eine Broadcom Karte und mit ndisswrapper hatte ich viele Probleme, vor allem viele kernel panics. Ich empfehle das hier: https://forums.gentoo.org/viewtopic-t-717136-highlight-.html
damit habe ich meine Karte zum laufen gebracht (unbedingt den ganzen Thread lesen) _________________ A! Elbereth Gilthoniel!

Hi Leute,
ja sie laeuft.
Jetzt noch eine frage.
Ich muss beim Einschalten des Rechners, die Wlan- und Bluetoothsfunktion aktiviert haben.
Sonst erkennt der Rechner die WLAN Karte nicht unter lspci.
Die Bluetoothsfuntion erkennt der Immer unter lspci.
Wenn ich im laufenden Betrieb Bluetooths aktiviere, aktiviere wird ein neues USB Device erkannt.
Irgendwie schein das Bluetooth unter USB zu fallen.
Wie kann ich das WLAN ueber den Schalter aktivieren bzw deaktivieren, ohne den Rechner neu
hochzufahren.

Evtl. musst du den PCI Hotplug Support einbauen, ich weiß leider nicht wie sicher dieser ist... _________________ mfg
